Adobe Bridge CS4 Crashing in Windows 7
Posted by Wilk | Filed under Computer, post processing
For anyone else out there that have a problem with Adobe Bridge CS4 crashing each and every time you try to launch it all the sudden for no apparent reason… there is an easy answer!
I went through some of the usual suggestions, mostly did a FULL unistall of the creative suite and reinsalled to no avail. I rolled up my sleeves and googled it until I found the answer. The answer came in an unexpectedly easy post in the adobe forums: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/464205.
All you need to do is hold down the ctrl key then click on the Adobe Bridge CS4 shortcut. A dialog box will come up asking if you want to reset the Adobe Bridge CS4 settings back to the default settings – you can also empty the cache, which I did and voila!
No more Adobe Bridge CS4 crash problems!
Hope this helps a few of you out there!
Simple Memory Tweak to Boost Performance on Windows Vista Using a Flash Drive

For those of you "stuck" with Vista, there’s a little known super fast and easy performance tweak available for anyone with a flash drive, for that matter, a CF card, SD card or other with a USB card reader, there is a quick and easy way to speed up your machine when you’re doing memory intensive projects, such as editing photos. This is something that you can’t get with XP and is a real selling point for power users, I think.
